HOW WE STARTED IT.

When Kennedy Funding began in 1986, we wanted to provide two things to the marketplace: speed and flexibility. Because it was apparent that those were the two ingredients most often missing from the traditional lending mix. So we did exactly that, and our reputation began to spread.

Today, we can close even the toughest loans in ten working days or less. Sometimes a lot less. We’ve been known to do it in less than a week under certain circumstances. And there’s no one else in the industry who can say that.

Then there’s the fact that we do the ‘impossible’ loans, the difficult ones, those that traditional lenders won’t even touch. We look at each loan individually, and judge it on its own merits, not on what a cookie-cutter rulebook says we should do. We make the decision based on our clients’ vision, and how much they believe in it – including raw land loans, where the land itself is the only collateral. We do these loans on a regular basis, while most other lenders won’t look at them twice.

But, then, that’s why we’re Kennedy Funding. And they’re not.
